PRYMR.io

PRYMR.io is an app that gives driving enthusiasts and avid drivers a competitive edge by pairing them, one-on-one, with certified performance driving instructors.

Challenge:

Create an easy-to-use platform to facilitate meetings between professional driving coaches and students. A great consideration was the range of technological savviness and adequately replacing the current system without making it cumbersome.

What We Did:

The first iteration of this concept was done as a native app. However, moving in the direction of an online platform proved to be more robust and offer more opportunities for additions to user-experience over time. You can see those designs below.

Going Deeper:

In the track driving community, there are passionate drivers and coaches who use an antiquated method of forms and emails to schedule meet-ups, driving events and coaching sessions. We set out to create a platform that was easy-to-use for both drivers and coaches. By diving into the current process of organizing a coaching session, we created process flows and adapted them for an online experience. We designed an application with a simplified landing page to get users directly to what they want and educate users on PRYMR’s services. Once users sign-up, we designed a series guided questions, reducing clutter, to help users choose the track location, event and instructor they would like to train with.  The objective was to make a complex system of time-reservations, waivers and payment smooth. PRYMR has launched version one and we continue to work together to iterate more functionality for their users.
