Extension Cartel™ provides high-quality hair extensions with beautiful salon color schemes, reliable quality & professional education on how to properly sell/use their products.

Challenge:

EC™ approached VERTIQAL to design enticing packaging to set them apart retail shelves.

 

What We Did:

First and foremost, EC™ didn’t have an existing logo or visual language to make them unique. Therefore, our first task. was to study the major competitors practices for opportunities to innovate. In addition, we studied the lifestyle and passions of their target audience: Salon Owners, Stylists, and Individual Fashion Enthusiasts. As a result, by leading with research we were able to develop a smart brand supported by demography, colors, textures and fonts that said: fashionable, edgy, high-end feminine brand.

 

Going Deeper:

“This packaging is inspired by bullet casing and comprised of 2-pieces. The top piece is a thick cardboard sleeve with a sleek matte black finish. The front features a holographic label and the back features a raised gold foil label. The insert is a hard plastic tube that fits tightly inside with embossed gold tin caps on top while the bottom cap has a silver embossed sticker placed in the center to somewhat resemble the back of a bullet. The interactivity of unraveling the package will definitely be memorable.” – Jairu Ollennu
